This Cookie Policy explains how ASTERO SHOP uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.

12.1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.

12.2 Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary / technical cookies: required for core store functionality, including maintaining your shopping cart, enabling secure checkout, and remembering your session. These cannot be disabled as they are essential to the operation of the store.
Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with our store (pages visited, time on site, navigation paths) so we can improve performance and user experience.
Marketing / profiling cookies: used by us and our advertising partners to deliver relevant advertising on and off our site, measure campaign performance, and, where applicable under privacy laws, may constitute a "share" of information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

12.3 Managing Your Cookie Preferences

On your first visit, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You may change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the website footer, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies (note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect store functionality, including checkout).

12.4 Third-Party Cookies

Certain cookies are placed by third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, analytics providers, advertising networks) whose own privacy and cookie policies govern their use of data collected via those cookies.

12.5 Retention

Cookies are retained for varying periods depending on their purpose, ranging from the duration of your browsing session to up to 24 months for certain analytics or marketing cookies, after which they expire or are refreshed upon your next visit and consent.
